Today the Enlazando Alternativas 4 is very busy with an all-day session of the Tribunal Permanente de los Pueblos (Court of the People) and over 80 work-shops, meetings, and round-tables.
We spoke with Rick Arnold from Canada, representative from Common Frontiers . He took part in a long meeting on Free-Trade-Agreements between Latin-America and the European Union, which will be one of the main issues that shall be negotiated in the official EU-Latin-America meeting next week in Madrid.
Rick Arnold told us of the negotiations between Canada and the EU for a free-trade agreement, why he rejects such anagreement, and what similarities one can find with the negotiations between the EU and Latin and Central America.Â
